Open Day: 26th and 27th June and 20th September 2024
Human Sciences will be taking part in the University's Open Days on 26th and 27th June and 20th September. Join us to find out more about this unique interdisciplinary course.
The Pauling Centre for Human Sciences will be open from 10am to 5pm when you can call in throughout the day and chat to students and staff about the course, look round the building, see our poster displays and enjoy free tea, coffee and home-made cake!
10am - 11 am: Human Sciences at Oxford - a talk on the Human Sciences degree and the admissions process with an opportunity to ask questions.
11 am - 12pm: Human Sciences, the Environment and Climate Change: an interdisciplinary perspective. Join tutors from Biology, Anthropology and Primary Health Care Sciences/Population Health for this taster session which will give you the opportunity to explore how many of the disciplines which make up Human Sciences are relevant to one of the most important challenges the world faces and see how the interdisciplinary training this degree provides, enables a greater understanding of the big issues of our time.
There is no need to register for the talks. Parents are welcome to attend but if the lecture room becomes full we will ask parents to give priority to prospective students.
